Back in 1964 the famous Soviet poet and future Nobel Prize in Literature Joseph Brodsky was arrested by the USSR authorities and found guilty of “social parasitism”. The sentence led to 18 months of exile in the Arctic and, in the end, his fleeing to the West. The whole trial, which lasted only a few days and cost him a heart attack, was well documented by writer and journalist Frida Vigdorova. Thanks to her records, we were able to do a throwback to those days, with characters, sounds and even the grim atmosphere in a movie-like audio play “Brodsky. The trial”
