On the occasion of the International Day of Indigenous Peoples together with Nornickel we created ‘Tales of the Taymyr’ musical performance based on the legends of the Enets, Nganasan, Dolgan, Nenets and Evenk peoples. Actors Ingeborga Dapkunaite and Semyon Treskunov purposefully went to the town of Dudinka to show the magical world of the tundra to the viewers. Here animals and birds speak and miracles happen to people. On our request composer Daniil Orlov enhanced the magical effect by mixing minimalistic techno with the vargan, a traditional musical instrument widespread in the North.

The performance also featured a representative of the indigenous peoples Alexei Chunanchar.
